When do you plan on going "Next Gen?"

Or current gen as it is now. Despite opinion I'm including the Wii U in this.

Me, I should get a decent bonus from work next May, so that's probably when I'll buy a PS4. I'm not so eager for an Xbox one, that'll probably come towards the end of the year or maybe early 2015. I already own a Wii U.

When the price tag drop which isn't going to be for a while now and even then it depends on the games available on the PS4. My main run through with the current gen has all been on the Xbox 360 with games like Skyrim, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Dark Souls, Darksiders and F.E.A.R with Dragon Age, Spelunky and Game Dev Tycoon on the PC if you count the last two. With any luck I may be getting a PS3 this Christmas and some exclusives I wanted to play since 2008.

I'll probably get a PS4 at some point a few years down the road, but as I do 99% of my gaming on the PC it is far from a priority for me.

(The other 1% is Pokemon on the 3DS.)

No rush here. I'll wait until the price drops or a game that comes out that demands buying. Probably when FFXV comes out or if a mmo I want to play is offered for the PS4, because that would seem like a cheaper investment than a newer gaming computer anyhow.

PC master race reporting in, seeing how the console serfs are doing toiling in the mud. I know a good few people who go crazy over next gen consoles, so when they inevitably drop a thousand dollars on a gaming experience that'll last roughly two days tops I'll swing by their place to play their new not-the-ouya. I mean the only two games I'd want to play are on the PS 4, and a continuation of kingdom hearts and a bastardization of a vastly superior game from the 80s aren't going to be the metaphorical first couple of rocks to get me hooked and begging for more.

Due to its specs, I don't consider WiiU current gen. It is technically, but since it is barely stronger than an XBOX 360 and can barely run ports of PS3 multiplats, it's hard to compare it to xbox 1 or PS4.

I have no plans, the only game i considered getting was "Star Wars: Battlefront" on Xbox One, but one game isn't enough for me to buy a new console.
Nah, i think i just stick with PS1 and Xbox 360.

Hopping from gen to gen is sort of burning me out. I was really excited when the PS3 was coming out, but this time around I'm just like meh. The expensive prices have something to do with it and just the cycle itself I suppose. I'm thinking about going PC, but even then I'd have to spend money for a new computer and I also have a ton of games I still want to play on the Atari 2600, NES, SNES, (Just a couple on the N64) GBA, PS1, PS2, Xbox 360, the Wii, DS, PSP and PS3.

There are games that peak my interest for next gen like Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy XV, Killer Instinct, and Metal Gear Solid 5.

I really don't know what I'm going to do yet, but if I happen to come to some money, best believe I'm getting all three and a 2DS.

When I can afford it is the straight answer. Sooner rather than later if I'm going to have any real ability to keep getting work now that we're in a shiny new generation.
