Merry Christmas from Eyes on Final Fantasy!
Have you been a good boy or a girl this year? We hope so because in a few short hours Santa Claus will be paying a visit! Our Secret Santas have already opened their presents in excitement. After all, the community is what makes Eyes on Final Fantasy the wonderful place that it is and, on behalf of all the staff, I would to like to wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
2013 started out as a bit of bust for FINAL FANTASY fans with the title that everyone would love to forget about; All The Bravest. However, just when even the most loyal of fans began to question whether Square Enix had truly fallen from grace, we were all treated to a surprise at E3 this year. The reveal of the newly rebranded Versus III as FINAL FANTASY XV! It was onwards and upwards from there with the fantastic relaunch of FINAL FANTASY XIV in the form of A Realm Reborn, and the HD compilation of KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMix. FINAL FANTASY XI even reached it's 11th birthday which is a massive milestone for an MMORPG to reach.
2014 looks set to treat fans again with Lightning Returns: FINAL FANTASY XIII landing on 14th February, FINAL FANTASY X|X-2 HD ReMaster arriving on 18th March, a veritable array of content updates in the works for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn too (along with a PlayStation 4 release) and KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMix to follow sometime later! Odds are we'll probably be given some juicy new deets on the hotly anticipated FINAL FANTASY XV too.
