If I'm on the other side of the world, that's 5000 points right there. If either you or Den is in the right continent, you'll get 1500 at most. Even with the bonus round, I'll never catch up, so no point trying.
I went through thousands of diagrams, hundreds of images, and I can't find any of the high rise buildings nor towers. This round is such a gigantic waste of time.

While I do admit this round is pretty pathetic (and while I did really hate the New Brunswick 'snowy landscape' one, it was actually astounding and interesting how you guys found out the location) I shall not give up! Even if I end up getting like a bazillion points. I've lost even a top five finish: What's the point not playing?

Right right, I've been putting off answering this round for some vain hope that I lightning bulb will flash in my head, but...
Nothing. Seriously. And I thought the Snowy Landscape one was hard. But before I finally put down my answer, can someone supply me with a list of members who took a photo(s). It would, at the very least, give me a barely calculated guess as to the country.
Eh, it's about average for me for a no google run on the actual Geoguessr, but compared to the scores you guys have, yeah, it's really high.
Sent my guess, but it pisses me off that I have to give what I'm 99% sure is a wrong answer.

I was tempted to go for "Generic City, Generic Location", but I looked on Google Maps and that place doesn't exist. Therefore I will do the old standby and say Middle of America. Which in this game pretty much means Garden City, Kansas. That's about central right?
It's still WAY off the track, but to hell with this round.
On the other hand, I feel like that's the point. It means that the photo-taker won. They took a photo with just enough evidence to make you dig, but not enough that you can find it. I don't understand why anyone would take photos with any other goal in mind.
Wat. Even a CIA agent with all the technological tools at his disposal would probably struggle triangulating a location.
