Henchmen

I suppose there are different levels of henchmen. I consider Biggs and Wedge from FFVIII to henchmen, and they are probably my favorite. Fujin and Rajin are Seifer's henchmen and they're pretty okay. Zorn and Thorn from FFIX are a little zany but I quite like them.

Who are your favorite henchmen?

VIII. Seifer and Edea - Ultimecia, Fu and Rai - Seifer
IX. Beatrix - Brahne, Black Waltz - Kuja
XII. Gabranth - Vayne
XIII. Cid - Barthandelus

I have to give it to Biggs and Wedge from FFVIII. I thought they were hillariously awesome when I was a kid, and I still see them that way because of my first impressions.

Or Kiros and Ward. They are pretty awesome too as good henchmen.

Of course, there is Zone and Watts too. They are also awesome.

Do the original members of Avalanche from the start of FFVII count? If not then I have to give it to Biggs and Wedge too, they're the first one to come to mind.

I would say they count, unless we're limiting this to bad guys. Though, the argument could possibly be made for Avalanche being bad guys in some ways.

Not really, Biggs and Wedge have been in a large number of Final Fantasy games as they are a nod to the Star Wars characters who share the same name.

Aside from that my favourite henchmen are Reno and Rude, they are awesome ^^

Tantilus form FFIX totes counts. They all work under Baku. I am therefore edging towards Zidane...

Biggs and Wedge are always favourites too, and Beatrix was a great character.

Yeah, Shinra tops Seph for me, even on disc one where he was pretty bad ass. I consider VI's empire the main baddie on the first half of the game so I can't call them a henchman.
