I Have literally spent hours over the past 2 days replaying the same scene over and over again because they randomize your party after and I'm desperately trying to get Shiro and Kinnison together in my party. I'll get one or the other, but not both. But I'm fed up and I can't spend a week doing this, so I'm giving it 3 more tries and if it doesn't work out, then I'm going to have to move on.
