Domain Registry Options

My domain name expires very soon and I need to look in to a new option. Currently I am using Register.com but tired of the sneaky ways and hidden charges. Do any of you know of any good and safe domain sites I can use to register my website name? I am not looking for hosting as my hosting is part of another site. Also, please no Go Daddy...I hate their customer service.

Not the cheapest, but they have excellent customer support and their website is easy to navigate, which can't be said about most domain registrars.

It's easy enough to find a coupon code online that will bring down the price of domain registration.

Can second this, been with them for a while with my dot.com address and never had an issue.
