I added everyone who has been here for a year. I kind of like to know who is on my friend's list before I put them on my... friend's list.

I have to say, having so many people on my friends list is being really beneficial! Especially with YOU, Fynn. ;3 I had access to abilities I would never have been able to get my hands on earlier in the game, and it really gave me more chance against the tougher enemies.

I went back through and added all of the ones in this thread since my last post. Furthermore, I had mis-typed one of them (Black Magic Shopkeeper) and so that is now fixed as well.


As for the blue chests - I'm not 100% certain how to open them, but from what I understand there's a key you get in one of the later chapters because the chests all have super awesome trout in them.

Finally got my own 3DS, and there's plenty of people in here I want to add to enjoy it with, rather than just a bunch of random the game picks up automatically at save points. I'll probably add a few here and there. But my code appears to be 4227-2780-1741

Edit: I just added a bunch of people and then realized I should probably be adding these within the game and not from the main menu's friend adding thingy. Maybe? I think I'll just stop for right now anyway

Vyk, you do have to add people in the main menu Friend List. Then when you select Add Friends in the game it'll just go by those, or at least that's the way I understand it.

I just got the game. It may be a while before I get around to playing it much, though. Working my way through Persona 3 FES at the moment.

This is correct. The in-game "Add Friends" will scan either the Internet or your Local Wireless (you choose which) for anyone on your 3DS's Friends List with Bravely Default sent data, then adds them to the in-game Friends List. So you need to do both.

I'll be adding those who have posted after me once I get back from getting an oil change done.

I guess what threw me is I keep forgetting the system is set up for kids' safety. So people aren't automatically added when I add them. It has to be a mutual add on the other end. So when I added people and it didn't work, I presumed I was doing something wrong. Go Nintendo. I guess there's nothing wrong with it though. It's just slower

Edit: (I've only legit owned this console since Wednesday, still getting used to how things work with it)
