this morning i booked 2 tickets for a 'try out' concert from Within Temptation.
it is pretty much what it says: they give a concert to try out the light effects, music etc. after that they will start touring with theire new album :3 so i wont get this oppertunity anymore for a while. got 1st class tickets :3

.. i havent even heard 1 song of the new album xD

I went to the Nintendo eShop on my 3DS just a bit ago so I could download the Bravely Default demo. And what did I find? You can download The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition for free until the 2nd of February

I had a really good conversation with a friend I haven't talked to in a while today. Just in the past week or so I've had some pretty good conversations with a few friends that have helped put some things into perspective in my life and help me with a lot of the things I've been struggling with lately.

This.. Made me feel warm and fuzzy inside, but it also tore me apart...

I made homemade biscuits from scratch this morning with eggs, bacon, sausage, and gravy

and my dad was like "I'm pretty sure you need to stay here." ............. even though the biscuits sucked ass.

And then for dinner, I pan seared a porterhouse (I did black & blue- burned on the outside, rare on the inside) and did homemade mashed potatoes... My dad saw me boiling potatoes and he said, "It's been years since your mom's made real mashy taters..." and then he loved them.

..... My dad's a really picky eater. So for him to tell me that what I put on his plate is great on his own without me asking... That's a huge accomplishment ..
