Successfully finishing my first FFI run in 2 sittings now time for a 12 hour work shift :/

Got new gadgets yesterday! I upgraded my htc one to an LG G Flex and hot damn is the picture incredible. I still miss my old phone though...

Also we got my dad a galaxy s4 & added him to our plan & because we did that, we pretty much got a free Galaxy Tab 3.

Rode a train for the first time yesterday & it started snowing while we were out to dinner .. Pretty hard, imho. But Jay said, "This is what we call a light snow, honey." XD

My experience of Italy though is that it mainly smells of leather and brylcreem.

Second drum student starts tomorrow. Watched The Perfect Host which was a pretty kick ass movie, ordered something to keep my drums from de-tuning inside of a day or two (the downside to a $500 kit I'm afraid), and played a bitching game of Warmachine in which almost everything died, and I was only defeated by my opponent at the very end by a very lucky damage roll (would have taken the game otherwise. Hard to be mad when almost everything died though. Started with probably more than 50 models on the table between the two of us. Ended with about 5 left). And I got some new paint yesterday.

All in all a good couple of days.

had the day off of work today and got to spend lots of time with my husband (who also had the day off) and our son who was in a super silly playful mood today. Went out to eat with my family, and when we got home, put the baby to bed and played some minecraft together. Soon, we will be going to bed, where we will have a very nice romp and fall asleep cuddling in the afterglow

One of my favorite doggy clients came in today :3 The owner always brings in some sort of terrible-for-you goodies; usually something just for me and something just for the shop. Today I got a half dozen almond poppyseed muffins (MY FAVORITE THING) and she brought a half dozen chocolate chocolate chip muffins for everyone else. I think she's trying to make me fat so I can't run away
