according to the receipt i bought this book 18-5-2013 and i am now 4 chapters away from finishing this first Game of Thrones book.
well.. alteas i can say i finished it within a year! haha
Having the day off with my sonIt's still early, but about five minutes ago, he was playing with one of his musical piano toys and dancing with me to it
he is also very cuddly this morning!
The pizza I just ordered is going to make me very happy today.
I received a very unexpected pat on the back. That was really sweet and it made my day
I got another review done on time. It always feel like I'm going to be late, but then I manage to get it through in the nick of time.
Realising that in exactly 11 days I'll be on the plane with the missus to Dubai watching Frozen on my seat TV and playing Tomb Raider on my PS Vita.
I had a short but nice conversation with BoB today that made me happy.

My very first best friend drove 4 hrs with her little girl to come see Parker and me.. So much fun- had breakfast at IHOP, went to the Discovery Center, and then went and saw Muppets Most Wanted.
I wish they could've stayed the night, but her daughter has school tomorrow and she has to work tomorrow.
My friend is so sweet though, she bought the girls matching toys from the gift shop and treated us and my dad to breakfast.
It was a rly nice day.
Went to court today...the charges were dismissed. Calling the cops for a $5 drink...the silliness of it made the judge laugh out loud.
Me am so happy!
I also forgot to mention that my dad told me last night that he wants me to have one of my mom's heart-shaped cake pans.
They're a set of 2, and metal, but my mom's dad (who died when my mom was 13- maybe younger) made them by hand- with hammers and things.. No machines involved.
I know they were promised to my sister and are in her possession, so I just let it go/didn't argue over it- especially since I already have my grandmother's vase (my mom's mom) & my other grandmother's set of china.
It was really unexpected. But my dad said, "I see how well you've taken care of your teddy bear, so I know you'll take care of that pan as well. And I'd like for you to have one of them."
I'm totally gobsmacked

Also, Manchester United actually won a home game. I'm going to savour this before Bayern Munich tear us a new asshole on Tuesday night.
Went shopping, did some leisurely study of art history/poetry, a colleague wants to lend me Fallout 3, my boss is being very accommodating in regards to some last-minute scheduling changes, and Spuuky & I are about to go to a celebratory dinner at a fancy restaurant. If everything goes to plan, I'll be showing Shorty around my neighbourhood tomorrow!
