5 days off work! Last day today, and I'm going to make homemade mac & cheese for dinner. Yum yum.

Finally got a call back about the abuse counsel line. They're going to send me my application in the mail and I will train in May!

Volunteered at a writing festival and enjoyed a funny presentation from an author, hilarious condensed performances of both Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet, and watching students participate in an acting masterclass. And I get to volunteer again tomorrow!
Edit: Also I had a reply from Nick Earls and a favourite from Terry Whidborne on Twitter today about writing and whatnot. That's some pretty awesome networking right there.

Found out that I was eligible for PIP (Personal Independence Payment) and I'm the first one in my entire town that has been awarded I will get a minimum of £54.45 extra per week ^^ (and its going to be backdated to March 17th).
They say it will take up about 2 months to process the payment so by the time I get it I will have a lump sum of £762.30 by the time the claim goes through.
