For algebra I'm making a comic book to earn extra credit. It's about a bad guy called Mr. X and a member of the superhero team known as The Mathletes called Polynomial Man. For Polynomial Man to beat Mr. X he has to figure out his secret identity using the quadratic equation while fighting his minions. It's pretty awesome! He has a mustache, a cape, and a factorbeam!

Went to a new hair stylist to get hair did and she did it exactly how I wanted it. Now exponentionally hotter (debatable).

Lunch with my family wasn't a complete disaster. Going out was fun, if a little tiring. Fitted in some productive things around the fun times as well!

My dog grooming clippers broke yesterday so I took them home to see if I could salvage parts from another older clipper. Tested them out this morning...it worked!

Also texting. Texting has made me very happy the last few days

ive just got a mail that ive got a job interview this friday.
after being at home 6 months im really looking forward to it.
it is very stupid but i have settled pretty much all my hope on this one. it is after all exactly what i want.

One of my students came up to me after class and said that she wanted to thank me. She had always hated math with a passion until she took my class. She says that I've shown her that math is not all pain and suffering, and can in fact be fun and worthwhile. She also said her mother has noticed a complete 180 in regards to her attitude towards math and wanted to thank me as well.

It means a lot to me because I was exactly the same way throughout most of high school. All it took was one incredible teacher to change my mind. He inspired me to study mathematics, and I wouldn't be where I am right now if not for him.

I went for a walk a little while ago and I kicked a rock. It bounced a few times then hit the curb and broke neatly in half. Now I have a cool shiny rock piece, which makes me slightly less sad. Rocks are cool.

I was able to finally get my webpage uploaded to my server after thumbling around with it all day. Which means I have a whole day to do finishing touches before I present it on Wednesday.

My new USB mic came through so I can start doing some decent music recording! Spent the evening recording Psy's FFVIII parody of Whatever which I'll finish this week.

Also been writing a FFVII parody of Fast Car which is coming along nicely
