Doesn't have to be a story behind having a nice time
Almost done with Pillars of Eternity! Things are getting super exciting
My phone didn't charge last night so I had to use my actual radio/cd player on my way to work rather than listening to an audiobook through my phone like I normally do.
Well I had the Final Fantasy Theatrhythm: Curtain call pre-ordered CD in my car. So it only has 5 songs on it but I listened to traveling FF music on my way and that was just fun and lovely.
I had a nice, relaxing weekend full of video games, I might be going to get a cute dress tonight if it isn't sold out, Krifean was super generous and gave me a visual novel birthday present! It's been nice outside, sharky's friend came to visit and he was very nice and it wasn't too stressful. Because I took a brain break I feel a bit better about the last week and a half of school, much less stressed. And I have big plans for this summer as well!
I signed up for a pole dance class this weekend! Sooooo excited to try it. And my regular Tuesday night dance class is back this week!
Got off work early and played video games all day and my crush Matched me on Tinder!
Organising a college reunion meet up for next month! So exciting!
Got offered another role at work! So not only will I be starting on accounts very soon, but I'll also be taking on the cash office support too! Quite exciting! It will only be a few extra hours unless the main folks that do those jobs have holidays or sickness.... but yey!
Just got me a Kindle Paperwhite, and it is quite lovely. I haven't really read much in a while because of being busy, and the books I've been itching to read have either disappeared from moving the few times I have or are boxed up at my parents house and somehow didn't make it to my apartment. I've tried reading on my tablets in the past to mixed results, but it really is easier on the eyes to read on the Kindle screen. It's also less distracting since my iPad and such usually leads to me getting sidetracked with other stuff. Also, the battery life is much better on the Kindle. It'll also make my life easier to just have a bunch of books with me on the go in compact form since my books are kind of scattered and I'll probably be moving again in a few years to somewhere out of state.
I'm expecting to be reading and writing a lot more now and getting back into my old habits so that I can go back to work on a few of my old unfinished or unstarted project ideas. It just feels good to be getting back into a creative mindset.
I was able to do a move in dance class last night, that I hadn't been able to do before. I have bruises on each forearm, and a huge one on my right calf, but I'm wicked proud of myself. Soooo excited for pole class Saturday!
My boss believes it's impossible for someone to be working hard if they're sitting down, even if the job they're working on is easier that way and recently banned us from sitting down at work at all except on our lunch breaks. So I got a doctors note today saying I can sit down whenever the hell I want for reasons. Going to rub that in his passive aggressive, racist face on Monday.
Edit: I'd literally be here for half an hour trying to explain all the smurfed up trout my boss does that makes this post make even a marginal amount of sense.
