Jay & I will also be getting a hotel room and staying the night - just to piddle around and hang out and be away from the apartment for a lil bit. We may stop and see an aunt of his on the way back.

The cleaning wasn't awesome, but the after part is. I've been making an attempt to get my cluttered life smurfing organized lately in getting rid of things, cleaning things, organizing things, and making sense of my jumbled hard drive, bookmarks, and email so that I can feel better and focus on doing more fun things instead of being nagged by the sensation that "I should be doing something more productive right now." I also think it will help allow for creativity to flow more freely as I don't have to worry about things I should be doing instead of not doing them. (I procrastinate a lot. A lot.)
Cleaning, donating unneeded possessions, and physical organization done! Next comes digital organization, and then comes fun things like hanging rainbow origami hearts from my ceiling and putting up posters and writing and brainstorming for a new etsy shop.

Jay and I have officially decided we'll be picking out a girl boxer puppy. I talked to my dad about it and asked his opinion.. He said a girl would be the better choice.
Maybe in the future we'll get a second boxer and it'll be a boy.

I feel like I'm being dumb but CAH???
So far today, I'm in an extraordinary mood. I woke up early to the sun shining, proceeded to get ready for the day and managed to achieve the perfect shave with my straight razor, not one cut or nick. This made me proud and boosted my good mood even further.
I was somewhat distraught at work today, but a coworker was leaving, and dressed in medical scrubs to go to their internship. I yelled out, "HEY, YOU SCRUB UP REAL NICE!" and the customer behind me burst out laughing.
