This is a bit lame, but I'm in an employment group on Facebook for Perth, and someone had mentioned they had an interview with a Sales and Marketing company - I knew the company in question as I've had a horrifying experience with them. Not only did I talk the guy out of going to his interview but I passed on the details of a job for my old company (the one that was actually awesome) and it made his day

We spent too much money at Target yesterday.

BUT! I got a crock pot! & a set of new skillets!

..... & we got some exercise stuff- I got a stability ball, and he got a resistance band and one of those ab roller things.

And I finally got my dry erase board and I've basically wrote the biggest note possible about keeping the apartment clean with basics of what needs to be done.

After he reads it, I'm sitting down and really making a detailed chore list and putting everything in plain B&W cuz my roommate is sincerely stupid af and it's annoying.

My mom's been sick, so I been helping her out. She seemed very happy, and again, it felt good to help make someone feel happy. She's always been there for me when I've been sick. In fact, when I got sick last year, she kept swinging by my place to drop off items to help deal with the flu I had. The least I could do is return the favor.

Made some progress on an article I'm writing, started XIV the other day and downloaded Patch 2.5, enjoying the meltdown from another random snowfall in good ole Colorado over the past couple days.

100 reviews. That made me pretty happy. Dear god I played 100 games. I could do a top 100!

The next few weeks will be exhausting but a lot of fun. I got tickets to these things this January or February: Distant Worlds, Phantom of the Opera for Broadway week (so tickets were much cheaper), and Universal Studios in California -- I've already been to the one in Orlando. Very exciting!

Also the launch of the website I did modeling for is now live and the teaser video for my feature film is very close to being done. We just watched the fine cut of it today. Soon we will be launching the indiegogo campaign for post production and distribution funds. ^_^

My boyfriend's school put in a recommendation for him to intern at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan!

He didn't even ask for it! He just asked I guess omeone in admin about applying for an internship since that's the next step, and they told him they'd already done it for him and where it is.

I'm absolutely floored right now. I know he's incredibly smart and at the top of his class, but I didn't know that his teachers really thought so highly of him.

We're all just waiting to hear back from the hospital.. Hopefully it'll be soon!! Fingers crossed he gets it!

Had a nice, relaxing day by myself. This week has been busy, and I haven't been home much. My cat was also ecstatic about me being home and cuddled with me the whole time!

Best Saturday in a long time.

- Lovely sausage sandwich to start the day
- Back driving again and actually enjoying it
- MissH is 12 weeks pregnant and almost back to her beautiful self
- Her Dad is home, having a good day (despite everything) and in good spirits
- Lovely lasagne and family chat
- Very nice massage from MissH with a joint happy ending
- Watched Pompeii in HD (OK, this doesn't count because it was awful)
- Helped MissH get through the Spirit Temple in Ocarina of Time
- Watched a fantastic Match of the Day followed by a great nights sleep

After so many dark days recently, it was really nice to feel human again and experience an enjoyable day.

I can't believe you wrote "massage with a joint happy ending"!!! Haha!!!I'm sure if you just wrote massage-people could come to their own conclusions!!! Oh,Daniel :-p I'm so sorry if we've made anyone feel queasy with this revelation.

But seriously- if anyone if considering watching Pompeii- don't bother! It really is an absolute load of rubbish! I knew I should have picked the film!

Forgot to post in here yesterday. After a stressful start of the weekend, my girlfriend was very supporting of me and helped me feel better.

As for today, I was at my folk's house and played with their kittens. Sounds simple, but the two that they got are the most friendly and active cats they ever had.
