So my parents new dog never finishes her dinner every day, she'll leave like half - and she eats so damn slow. Well, today I've been home alone and just had to feed them, and I managed to get her to finish the whole lot. Mwahahaha in your face rents!

Got a call about setting up an interview at a place I don't even remember applying. I'm not sure happy is the right word because the way I've been feeling lately makes it hard to do a complete 180, but it's good news I suppose. It's at an auto parts store I guess so it may even be easier on my body than working in a shop all day.

We just adopted a small Plott Hound named Norman because our other dog Mandy has been depressed ever since her buddy Max died. It's day one and they're already playing. Mandy got so excited her scampering claws almost tore up my bare feet. I got the heck out of there!

Even the cats don't seem to mind Norman. Not once did they hiss or puff their tails. And Norman was already tested with cats before we brought him home, and he doesn't seem to mind ours either. Basically, today was good. But watching Norman and Mandy play (especially Mandy because she gets so bloody spastic and wacko) pretty much made my day!

Been feeling so down lately and missing Pheesh the last few days - even this morning I'd had a horrible dream so wasn't feeling good. Went to see my little cousin and spent the whole day with her, and oh my god she just lights anyone up. We met the Gruffalo in the forest and had a big walk, a picnic, a quick stop at the ice cream van... Then we went back home and she demanded "Tara. No. Stay. Bed" (Tara you have to stay until I've gone to bed!) so we watched Despicable Me, and then I showed her How To Train Your Dragon! (I mean, of course!) and she loved it. She now has added ASSST (Astrid) and Draaang (dragon) to her vocabulary.

THEN we played in the ball pit with Elsa and Anna, drove Peppa Pig around the bedroom in her car, read some more books....

THEN she had a bath and we played with all the bath toys and bubbles, and some special kiddy soap from Lush which you can paint the bath with and yeah - is soap! Wow xD. Bloody nora, a long day I tell ya! Tomorrow my aunt is dropping me off for a job interview at the shopping mall so afterwards we're taking her to the build a bear workshop where she can build her own Minion plushie... n.n spoilt rotten that kiddo.
