Speaking of pots, er pans. I finally have time today to season my iron skillet. I'm excited.
My bff of over 20 years is gonna be in NYC in November!! Not for very long, but I'll at least get to see her.
We wanna try and take a trip to Australia next Summer together. XD

Oh, my best friend here has been so awesome. She spotted me some stuff over the weekend knowing how stressed out, mad, upset, and depressed I've been. And then she brought me something else just now and she's coming back over here in a little bit for dinner and drinks. She's bringing me beer.

OH! And I found the engagement ring I want. I'm going to start saving for it and hopefully for my next birthday... ^_^;;

I enjoy my job. Granted, it's not something I want to do forever by any means, but while in this troutty situation it makes things a lot easier not having to go to a troutty job I hate. I actually really like it and feel like I'm making a difference and learning some new skills. Plus, my co-workers are both really nice. Things could be a lot worse on this front, so I'm super grateful for my boss for being so enthusiastic about me.
Alongside all the other crap we've got going on, it turns out we need to pay quite a lot more to get our kitchen installed. Normally this would go in the rant thread but MissH's response just made me laugh so much!
"I don't want a smurfing house anymore. I want to go on lots of holidays and go to fancy restaurants. I WANT A STEAM MOP!"
I'm officially getting married and can kind of start planning my wedding. Hopefully next Summer!
This has made my entire weekend. I'm beyond excited. I can't wait to finally be married- and to the most incredible dude ever. I'm so lucky.

Wasn't really today but I decided a few days ago, and after discussing it with my parents, I'm going to be moving back home for the foreseeable future. I'm planning to get some sort of job and put all of the money I can into building guitars and possibly drums and make a strong effort to get a small business off the ground. I have some ideas I think will really make me stand out and give me a shot, so I'm going for it. I'm tired of working for other people and having absolutely no stability in my life. So if I'm going to be constantly struggling with the latter I'm going to do everything I can to get the hell away from the former.
