While Bert is enjoying his new toy gun, I am enjoying my Private reserve Russell Stover chocolates and viewing the forums as we speak. Today is a happy day and I wish the same to you all. Enjoy!

I'm so nosed deep in gender studies and gender role ideology right now as part of my dissertation so I'm just reading so much into this one sentence.

Actually, about my dissertation: it's going well! My head hurts though. I've counted how many separate references I've made: 75. Granted, about half of them I've only used once or twice, but still. I'm now looking at how geographical spaces are inscribed with gender and how that translates across over to the Internet.

I mean, enjoyable as smurf but...

My PS2 and PS3 have both died on me in the last month, but in trying to figure out what went wrong, I actually fixed my PS2 and I'm confident I can fix my PS3 once the part I need comes in. So yeah, actually being Mr. Fix-It for once and saving money.

My sister works for a Big UK Supermarket and will often get reduced goods before they get thrown out because of sell by dates.

Right now I'm eating Kung Fu Panda birthday cake that she got for 50p.

Octagon barrel! Nice buy! Octagons in nice shape are getting tougher to find.

I was going to say that I was happy to have time with my eldest today, just him and I. It's been "all about" the little ones, of late...

... But I just had a good laugh watching our 2 year old "steal" a ball off of the pool table as the oldest and friends were playing. He ran, with all the kids in pursuit, towards the pool, and threw it in. 9 ball down (eldest already retrieved it). He's pissed that they're not including him.

Sweet pick up (gun), by the way.

Just whipped my bra off and had an immense underteet scratch!

Ladies, you know what this is like.

'underteet' probably wins as the best word I've heard in 2016

I managed to get a start of sorts on my writing today. Hooray.

There is no greater feeling than removing your bra at the end of the day. It is known.

I was absurdly productive today which, while exhausting, helped alleviate some stress about the upcoming weeks
