If you could take elements from any Final Fantasy game to make your "ideal" Final Fantasy, what would you take from which game?

I would take the licence board from XII
The characters from IX and VIII
The world from X
The battle system from X-2
The story from IX
The graphics from XIII
The summons from VIII
The music from VII, IX, and X
The chocobos from IX
The save's from IX (Moogle saves)
Speaking of which, the moogles from IX
The airship from IX
The weapon customization from X

You can add more categories that that or remove some or whatever. Just have fun with it!

The weapon customization from Dirge of Cerberus (Squall's gunblades actually seemed to be made this way too)
I would also like a Continue system (SPOILER)(the only RPG I've ever known to do this is Crystalis, allows you to instantly continue from a relatively safe position near where you died, more convenient as there are very few places you're usually allowed to save. If this function had been present in Final Fantasy VII, you could have used the Save Crystal at the half-way point instead of at the bottom and then continued your game at the bottom of the crater if you were defeated)
