Prologue & Arrival in Luxerion
















The show begins with Lightning arriving in Yusnaan were chaos shows up, causing heavy problems. After a scene with Snow and Lumina she finds herself alone with some monsters and explains you how sexy battling is.






By changing her dresses/job classes she efficiently fights some Anubis and Gabble monsters, guards and eventually knocks them out to finish them off quickly.
She then follows Snow who also has his own work with some of the monsters. While running after him the creatures of chaos confront Lightning no matter where she is, even in the narrow corridors of the residence or the bigger halls, that lead to Snow.








Eventually she is stopped by Lumina and a Saltys that materializes. Gracefully she even slays a dragon as big as him with ease.

Afterwards she needs to come back to Hope in the Arc, where he awaits and from where he supports her all the time. During the time crash Lightning set herself into crystal sleep so she was not affected and now she can continue her journey and task. However, which task this is will not be shown completely now as some things are saved for later by me and also there are for sure some that do not want to experience everything about it before it is release in the West, so I will not tell everything and while explaining a bit, remain vague most of the time. Then you have the joy to experience it yourself without knowing too much.

The Arc is also the place where Ygrassil grows, a tree that can be kept alive and grow more twigs and blossoms by giving it the souls she rescued which is necessary to expand its life and with it the days that remain until the Creator God of Light makes the world Nova Chrysalia's fate true. Instead of just sitting there and doing what some villains in Final Fantasy want from us, we support Eclair, of couse.















Lightning starts in Luxerion, a nice little town where the Children of Etro and those who stand for the Creator God of Light live.
Right when she arrives she finds both a dead person and a marionette will be thrown on a rope from the train station building, hanging in front of the giant clock. It reminds of Lightning.
The first thing to do is finding some hints by talking to passengers and what Lightning can find on the streets.
At the same time sidequests are introduced as she will help some guys meeting each other. The one who is late shall be escorted by Lightning and brought to the other one. This way she collects the first two souls for Ygdrassil.

I'm interested in it, I just hadn't realized you had started (since it still has the "you decide" bit in the title).

I'm also heavily interested in the mechanics and systems, so any elaboration that you wanted to do on the battle system, your customization of Lightning, or on how the "three days" thing actually plays out would be welcome.
