These rules are so confusing. 
Why did I lose gil, again? I knew Madonna wasn't BoB, sooo...??
EDIT:So if I'm reading things correctly, it's not enough to know whether the other person is lying to contest them. I'll also loose money, because I'm not the person they're claiming to be. If I contest their claim, and I'm not that person they're claiming to be (BoB), then I also lose money.
Laaaaaaaaaaame. What's the point in keeping track? Even if I know, unless I'm the person they're claiming to be, I can't protest unless I also want to lose money.
