Topic's the question here. Not sure if this is the right place to be asking, but whatever.

I'm planning to start a writing blog where I could post stories I write and expect feedback from the readers. I still don't really know where I should do it, though. Blogspot seems like a logical choice, but is it still widely used? Also, it's affilated with google, and I'm not really wild about connecting the stuff to my name yet. I know tumblr is really popular nowadays, but that format doesn't really fit my needs. Most people would probably say tl;dr, I guess :/

Anyone here knowledgeable in the blogging ways of the Internet nowadays? Thanks for any help you guys have to offer
