Just received an e-mail notification today that the game has shipped!

I have grown up with physical copies of games, so that's what I like. I get more satisfaction of seeing my games slowly filling up the bookcases I have. I don't get that sane sort of satisfaction from digital games.

That being said, if a game us digital only like ace attorney dual destinies I'll still get it.

I agree with that. I will also buy games digitally if their physical form doesn't come out until months after the digital release. Namely Telltale Games The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us which are released in episodic format.

Awesome. Is it possible that you can get your copy early on Monday instead of Tuesday?

My Bravely Default collector's edition showed up the day of release. I didn't see any notification online but the package itself said "next day air arrival" so I think companies time it pretty spot on.

I just preordered the normal edition just so I could avoid continually looking at the collector's edition. It looks so lovely, but I really can't afford spending $30 more on a game for a watch I honestly would never use.

Also, yeah, I'm kinda wishing now that I just saved my money and spent it on the collector's edition for the FFX/FFX-2 HD remaster just because it has more value since it comes with the posters and soundtrack ... but now that I see a picture of the collector's edition it sure does look pretty! xD
