Aha! I see! Well, even when you're being unhealthy and having cheat days, you're still being extremely healthy! Great stuff. I'm now going to stare into the middle distance and think about food...

We went to a place called Little Creatures for lunch today. Pheesh had been drinking last night so he needed a big pick-me-up. I wasn't too hungry, so I got a smaller dish.
I had the prawn skewers and Pheesh had the italian sausage pizza! We also had Little Creatures famous frites!

I'm sorry for double posting.
I just made the salsas for my big ole Mexican dinner.
They'll kick your ass. Hard.
The one on the left is a salsa that I used to practically cry over cuz it's so incredibly spicy. I eventually got a little used to it and then fell in love even though it's so hot. My favorite taqueria in Nashville serves their tacos with little sides of them. It's made with avocado, tomatillos, onion, serrano peppers, and cilantro.
The recipe I found calls for everything to be fresh, but I'd already roasted most of my tomatillos, all but 1 of my serranos, and a whole onion for another salsa. So I used the 2 fresh tomatillos I had left, plus a couple of roasted ones, my 1 fresh serrano pepper & 2 roasted ones, a mix of fresh & roasted onion, & big handful of cilantro. Plus the avocado. And a little water to thin it out. I wound up adding an additional 1/2 of a jalepeno though to kick up the spiciness a couple of notches.
The red is made with roasted plum tomatoes, a couple of tomatillos, garlic, onion, & a bunch of toasted dried chiles de árbol.
Soooo yummy. But soooooo. Spicy. Omg. Even a tiny drop of the red is enough.
My Dad brought round more mussels. I didn't really want to do chili mussels again cause it'd only been a week since the last ones so I whipped up a mussel fettuccine.

I don't think this picture adequately portrays how massive the burgers I made for Tara and I last night were, but she can confirm that they were quite the struggle to eat. Lettuce, bacon, beef, swiss cheese, swiss brown mushrooms, swiss cheese, toasted bun; it was amazeballs.
I've seen some massive burgers in my time. They're usually made at restaurants. Good job on that.
If it wasn't for the fact I had a cheeseburger today I might be drooling right now.
I need to get better at plating & snapping pics of my foodz. I suck at it.
I have a big bag of shrimp in my freezer. Ima do bacon wrapped shrimp with jalepeno in it. And maybe chipotle chicken quesadillas with a mango pico de gallo. IDK.
I still have a smurf ton of Mexican rice in my fridge. And my bf made me chicken adobo yesterday, so there's still white rice in the maker.
I have too much food that needs to get eaten >.<
I had pancakes and coffee for breakfast, chicken parmigiana for lunch and salad Nicoise for dinner. Trying to eat healthy
i had yogurt and a burger..i don't eat much.. i tend to forget that i need to..
So this is love and See you space cowboy were made for me.
Ordered in room service. BF had a flat iron steak that came with a small salad and these big potato wedges with cheese & bacon on them and I had a bbq pulled pork sandwich that has an apple-blue cheese slaw. With fries, & a big pickle spear. Sooooo yummy!
A BLT sandwich and a packet of salt and vinegar crisps.
Had a grilled cheese sandwich and some chorizo for lunch today. Not recommended for anyone participating in that weight loss comp.
