I have chicken breast marinating in a mix of beer, chipotles en adobo (with some of the sauce. This can is hella spicy tho), onion, bell pepper, chopped mango, lots of lime juice, fresh cilantro, ground coriander seed, and cumin!

You know what is actually really nice? Baked family members. I know it sounds unusual, but until you try some baked cousin then don't be too quick to judge. I personally like a whole cousin cooked en papillote, just add some lemon, thyme and maybe some fresh chili if you're using a particularly bland cousin. Don't knock it till you try it!
Hmmm... interesting idea. A few years ago, did actually try a Baked Third Cousin Twice Removed Tart. It was unusual to say the least. Maybe first cousin would be the way to go for any future dalliances.
I would not recommend Fried Granny. It was smurfing awful.
Oh yeah, older family members need to be slow cooked, definitely. I had trouble finding a crock pot large enough to fit my grandpa in though.
Yeah, I won't make that mistake again, believe me.
If you're after something a bit sweeter though, you can't go wrong with a Traditional Mother-in-law Trifle. It has a lovely smooth texture and you don't get that bitter taste you can sometimes get with blood-relatives.

I'm quite happy with my toast. Had 4 rounds earlier.
I made stuffed chicken breasts with sauteed asparagus, mushroom, onion, & Sun dried tomatoes and wrapped in prosciutto! & I did zucchini & yellow squash spaghetti with a burst tomato sauce.
Was mega yummy!
I'm thinking of doing stuffed pianos with steak & veggies & something.
Or patty melt sandwiches with fries.
It's a toss up at this point.
Nutella toast, a cheeseburger, and some grilled nephew.
I'm discussing my 108, er, 111 favorite games of all time in THIS THREAD so go check it out and join the conversation!
I made chicken fried rice! I sauteed up some ginger, garlic, and onion before adding in the rice & then stirred in low sodium soy sauce, a bit of hoisin, and some juice from an orange. And red pepper flakes. And of course the chicken, peas, and carrots. XD
Home cooked pot roast, diced carrots, cherry bits and a slice of red velvet cheesecake.
I made a Taramisu today!
Made the sponges from scratch, and the zambaglione too! This is a little stack I made with the leftover sponges and some cream - I can't wait to cut into the actual cake later and see how each layer looks. Fingers crossed it looks beautiful! I've made some little white chocolate shards to serve it with, and of course I'll be topping it with cocoa powder. So excited. I know this is one of Pheesh's favourite desserts so I hope I can do him proud with mine. I always thought this dessert would be easy to make... but I definitely underestimated the challenge... There's a lot of tricky components to this dish so I hope they all balance out. Overall I spent about 3 hours this morning on it! So it had better be good!

I made my amazing Mexican Shrimp Cocktail, homemade tostadas, Mexican rice, and spicy black beans! The rice needed more tomato sauce as it isn't really as red as it should be and there isn't avocado in the cocktail cuz the ones I got are nowhere close to being ripe
That's the hot chicken & my mommy's tater salad I made the other day. Soooooo stinking yummy.
And my bf's lunch! Southwestern pasta salad with corn, black beans, tomatoes, onion, sauteed red & yellow bell pepper, cilantro, jalapeno, queso fresco, and I did a vinaigrette with lime, olive oil, garlic, cumin, crushed coriander seed, salt, and pepper!
I've also got a pasta salad with Sun dried tomatoes, olives, goat cheese, and made a lemon/olive oil dressing with basil and garlic.
And I'm making fajitas. And greek chicken pita sammiches things
