Bow before the mighty Javoo!
20 pc. Chicken McNuggets w/ Sweet & Sour sauce. I've got a Peaches & Cream Pie waiting for me.
Our landlord made some kind of Thai noodle chicken bowl thing with peanut sauce and peanuts and veggies and brought a huge thing of it to us yesterday.
Had some of that for breakfast and lunch.
Now I'm making a spicy shrimp pasta with tomatoes and corn and lemon juice.
Must go grocery shopping tomorrow. heh.
I've had the same lunch as I've had most days for the past 2 months. Mixed leaf salad with Chicken/Turkey breast garnished with a salad dressing of my choice (today was balsamic dressing) and topped with feta cheese (sometimes I use goats cheese instead)
It's bloody delicious.
French vanilla coffee for breakfast. A spinach salad with chunks of avocado, quartered tiny tomatoes, squares of avocado topped with poppsyeed dressing, and then a massive tangy, tart, juicy nectarine that made me so happy. I haven't had a nectarine in probably years, but I so prefer them to peaches because the fuzzy peach skin weird me out to eat.
I visited a nice little market that I've never been to before that's just right down the street from my office in search of my avocado and nectarine. It's an all natural organic place so it's a little pricey, but I really like it and I think I will spend more time there in my shopping.
Cereal, double cheeseburger and large fries, mashed potatoes, chicken leg, fishsticks.
Just tried something a little new. Shredded a pork steak, spiced it up a little with tomatoes and chilli, and put it on a bed of lettuce with diced mango and avocado over the top. Looks fantastic.
Pork should have been cooked for longer at a lower temperature to make it shrumyum, and unfortunately the avocado and mango aren't yet ripe, so overall a slight failure. There's promise, though, so I'm going to change the spices up and do it again once the greens are ripe!
Noodles!
