I agree. If you have the 3DS it on a desk or something so it's perfectly immobile, you can maybe get away with it. If you hold the DS in your hands, it moves way too much, even on the lowest 3D setting.

When I get a new game I check it out in 3D for a while, ooh and aah a bit, until I get annoyed to death or my eyes start to bleed, then I turn it off. Usually takes 5-10 minutes.

I haven't found a game that looks THAT much better in 3D yet. Link's Awakening maaaaybe? Maybe not even that, I think I played it mostly in 2D too. Some games look incredibly bad in 3D thanks to jagged textures. Some games don't even use 3D except to make the text float a little above the background.
