During this month, the month of love, EoFF will be hosting The Newlywed Game! BUT you don't have to be a newlywed, or even a couple! Just find yourself a partner and sign up!

What is this?

This event is based off of the show "The Newlywed Game". There will be two partners per group and hopefully at least three groups of people. The game is centered around how well you know the other person.

How does this work?

After researching various versions of The Newlywed Game throughout the years, I have combined them in to one Newlywed Game for the forum. I call it Mega Newlywed Game.

There will be 3 rounds.

Sign up in this thread with your partner. I will assign the first person listed as "Partner 1" and the second person listed as "Partner 2".

Ex: sharky and shion would like to play. sharky is Partner 1 and shion is Partner 2.

I will send out a questionnaire to all of the participants. Partners 1 and 2 will have different sets of questions.

Round 1 will be Partner 1 answering questions about Partner 2, as filled out in the questionnaire.

Ex: Host: Partner 1, what is Partner 2's favorite movie?
Partner 1: Twilight, because they have awful taste and that's why we don't sleep in the same bed anymore.

If Partner 1's answer matches the answer filled out in the questionnaire, They will get 10 points!

Round 2 is similar, but reversed. Partner 2 will have to guess the answers of Partner 1.

Round 3 works a bit differently. The participants will be asked to submit 3 random facts about themselves. I will then add in two "fake facts" to couple with each real one. The participants then have to try and guess which facts are real. Correct answers for these will be worth 20 points each!

The winner is the pair with the most points!

What do I have to do?

Sign up in this thread. List you and who your partner is. I will message all partners to confirm that they do want to play and you aren't forcing them in to this against their will for some kind of kinky foreplay. They can also confirm in this thread.

Registration will run until Saturday February 15th at 11:59 PM EST. I am hoping for at least 3 pairs.

On Sunday, I will send out the questionnaires. You have until Wednesday at 12:00 PM EST to submit your answers. It only takes a few minutes, so get it done! The game will begin either on Wednesday, February 19th OR when I receive all of the questionnaires if I receive them beforehand. If a questionnaire isn't received, the team is disqualified.

Then the games will begin!

So grab your partner for a fun game of realizing that your spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, or friend knows nothing about you! Find out if you really do have to be jealous of that other couple! Why does he know her answers and not yours? Probably because she's prettier than you!

I actually have been getting a lot of weird hours at work and probably wouldn't have time for this outside of spectating anyways, but I did actually think just before reading both posts regarding these specific people "Sharky/Jiro might be fun to partner with" haha.

Edit: Actually, ToriJ, partner with me. We live in parallel Kansas City's and don't know each other that well. It could be fun. Looking back over when things are happening in the OP I think I could swing doing this.
