I keep it, then when another sock gets worn and torn I still have the extra sock to pair with the other usable sock.
I throw it away

I turn it into a comedic animal eg. sock bunny/kitten/puppy/giraffe
I use it as a makeshift dust cloth
I use it as a masturbatory device
