I use it as a makeshift dust cloth

Spare sock dilemma
We've all been there.
Your favourite pair of socks have been with you through thick and thin. Then, one day, one of these socks develops a huge hole in the heel and your big toe is sticking out of a smaller hole at the front.
BUT... your other sock is still in a good, usable condition.
What do you do with the usable sock?

It goes too. But really, I've never had just one sock be too trout to use. Usually they get a lot of use.
Also, I own duplicates of most socks anyway so I can just mix n match. I have like five of one type of sock that just end up being rotated. Efficient, woo.
All my socks are either black or white so I dont even notice when one goes missing

They're mostly all black but if it isn't I match it with another lonely sock in the same predicament. It's not like anyone will see them when my pants cover the tops of my shoes :v
ill match them up with another lonely sock that looks a little alike..
nobody sees my socks anyway so.. why waste them?

I keep it, then when another sock gets worn and torn I still have the extra sock to pair with the other usable sock.

Can't mixmatch. I'm the type of person that normally matches my undies with the rest of my outfit. Socks have to match too or they can just be black or white.
I purposely wear socks that don't match so if I'm short a sock and my socks are mismatched, no one would know anyways because they always are!
It just stays in my drawer. No use for it. Maybe as a dust wipe, but then it gets washed and goes right back into the drawer.
I don't want to take it away from all its friends.
