What is the "definitive" version of this game?

I've heard some people say the GBA version-- is that true?

This and XIII are the only FFs I haven't played at least a small amount of and I need to remedy this.

I'd say the GBA version is the best one. The PSX version isn't bad in a pinch.

GBA has extra jobs and content, better graphics, and a significantly improved script.

Doesn't really have better graphics, but the text boxes have portraits.

The script in the GBA version is pure gold. I'd say it takes the cake if only for that reason.

I would say the GBA has worse graphics in my opinion. The color palette is something that I would think most people could overlook, but it certainly bothers me.

If you want the most true experience like the original Japanese release, then PSX is the definitive version. I also think this is true for FF IV, but that's another topic...

I realize the GBA ports are popular, but because they added new features and made tweaks for easier difficulty, I feel they are bonus releases rather than definitive releases.
