Hey all, got a message saying I should introduce myself here - so here I am.

Back when I was a teenager I was obsessed with FFVIII and I spent over 10 years roleplaying as a student in Balamb Garden. Not so much nowadays, but I'm still doing it from time to time. I still love FFVIII to bits, to the point that I won't let myself finish it. I've been at Ultimecia's castle (read: stuck at Ultimecia's castle) for a few years now, only now playing very occasionally for the fear that there's not long left.

Besides FFVIII, I just really started FFXIV:ARR and I'm having a lot of fun with it. No bigger pressure or excitement than taking down dungeons and bosses with other people. Also, big fan of contemporary fantasy/sci-fi books, in particular there's the Lies of Locke Lamora, the Name of the Wind and the Hydrogen Sonata.

Looking forward to discussing FF with you guys.
