So I was thinking, its been 13 years since the original release of FFX, would you consider this game to be retro now? If not, how old would you say a game has to be for it to be considered retro?

Doesn't it have to be good to be retro?
In all seriousness, no. I mean, yes, it crossed the nostalgia border since 10 years is enough for that, but I think it takes more time for a game to be retro. Heck, not even VII is retro in my eyes.
I remembering reading something in a old PlayStation magazine, that when a game is a decade years old, it becomes retro.
Complete bullweed, but I think it does makes sense/ add up.
I consider 8/16bits to be retro personally, but don't care if someone wants to call this retro. I've found on Twitter that anything generation six and below is considered retro so I just go with it when making tweets. I think it might have been taken off that card with the release of the HD version, though I have no idea why.
I'd be willing to by PS1 era games as Retro at this point. Not so much PS2.
Agreed.
I've got all my favourite PS1 classics on my Vita and I would definitely consider them retro.

No. For myself, I would say something has to be atleast twenty years old to be considered retro.
My first console was the Sega Megadrive, so games of it's era and earlier are what I consider retro, X is pretty far off my retro radar for quite another while.
I actually think I spotted a few pixels in FFX.
everything is wrapped in gray

can you hear me in the void?
That's exactly how FFX looks on my TV
everything is wrapped in gray
