My country is the most compassionate? Huh? I mean sure, publicly I support awesome things like government healthcare and better education, but that's mostly because privately I hate people and want them to not be awful anymore but the law won't let me just kill them.
Mine is by 1 (It's not in the fancy picture because MDNA forgot about me T_T). For a brief period of time I was a Scandinavian Liberal Paradise.
The Nomadic Peoples of Taslvania is a tiny, safe nation, renowned for its devotion to social welfare. Its hard-nosed population of 8 million enjoy extensive civil rights and enjoy a level of social equality free from the usual accompanying government corruption.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Welfare, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 57%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.
Meat-eating is frowned upon, young children are regularly seen wagering pocket money at blackjack tables, the alarmingly racist TV show 'Bigtopians Say the Darndest Things' is a hit, and the latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller. Crime is totally unknown. Taslvania's national animal is the Snake, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Ura.
You know what bugs me? The whole meat eating is frowned upon thing. Me choosing to be considerate enough to make sure animals live well and die as painlessly as possible does not mean meat eating is frowned upon. If anything, people would be lucky if I didn't make meat eating mandatory.
The game tends to exaggerates things to make it more fun, at least that's what I remember reading that one time. That's why the people in your country are weird as smurf.

I'm still desperately trying to keep hold of the Aison Collaboration from last time EoFF did this. We got invaded by some smurfs and DP buggered off and I can't gain control to boot the others so I guess our great name is being tarnished.
