Aha. Well, investing in Faith up to 10 shouldn't be too much trouble for most builds I'd guess though. Great Heal is certainly worth it if you can just get it that low.
The Warmth pyromancy could be an option too, although the healing is slow and I think it heals anyone near it including your target.

Going through all the optional bosses and beat (SPOILER)Darklurker. I got blasted the first time around but long range spells seem to fry it pretty easily. Seems like it could be a really tense melee only fight.

I'm still really confused about the ending. (SPOILER)Why do we visit the Ancient Dragon? Why do have to fetch something from the memories of giants? What does beating Nashandra solve exactly? I have no clue about these things.

In any case, FromSoft's attempt to be more direct in it's storytelling this time around was clearly either a false statement or they failed miserably. Here's hoping for some enlightening lore video's.

Now rocking the Sacred Chime Hammer which can be buffed with Resonant Weapon. It rocks the Dark like no other. Also, Moonlight Greatsword is getting the no-buff nerf next update.
