I was late to the SNES party because we had a Sega Genesis instead, but I did get to play it over at my cousins house. I have fond memories of Super Mario All Star, both Super Mario Worlds, A Link to the Past, Scooby Doo, Mega Man X, Super Mario RPG and some other things I'm sure I'll remember later.

Fondest memories of my Super Nintendo... *adopts suitable misty eyed stare*

    - Super Mario Kart two-player battle mode (mainly the beach stage) non-stop for hours on end with my friend. I remember the final score being in triple figures one time. Something like 143-112. Too much fun... Either battle mode or Ghost Valley 1 match race. Epic.

    - Mortal Kombat 1-3. Not even having proper fights (I never thought it was technically a great beat-em-up) but just taking it in turns to win the fights so we can attempt fatalities, babalities, friendships etc. Also, when running through the tournament, using the Super Pro pad with autofire to cheat at 'Test Your Might'

    - The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past. Getting this for my tenth birthday and playing it for 30 minutes before I had to leave for school. I found the secret entrance outside the castle, got my sword and shield then made it into the palace... I could think of nothing else the whole time I was at school. It's easily the game I've completed the most hence my 100% completion time of three-and-half hours.

    - Super Smash TV two player bedlam. Never actually completed due to not being able to find ten of those damn keys. Me and my friends would randomly quote when we were out in the streets. "BIG MONEY, BIG PRIZES, I LOVE IT!", "TOTAL CARNAGE", "I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR!" (clearly robbed from Robocop). We'd even randomly shout the "whoo!" and "yeah!" that the players made when getting a power up. Awesome.

    - Pilotwings. I had a particular knack for the Rocket Belt which I could pretty much land on the moving platform without fail. It was always the smurfing hang glider that messed up my scores. I remember making Big Al cry with a perfect parachute jump on level 8. A proud moment. There were times though when you just had to plummet into the buildings without opening your parachutes just for the instructors to frown at you and say "You did that on purpose, didn't you?" Erm... yeah!

    - Street Fighter II. Trying to get all the eight different character endings. Zangief and Dhalsim proving extremely difficult to beat M Bison with. "God damn it! Stop beating the game with Chun Li! I've seen her ending about 10 times!"

    - Super Mario World. Stealing lives during two-player when your friend wasn't looking. I've played this game a ridiculous amount of times. Every knows there are 96 exits in this game. I actually got to 91 exits (including the whole of Special Road) without losing a single life. I was scuppered by a smurfing Monty Mole in the lead up to Bowser's castle. Smurf that mole, man. Seriously. SMURF HIM!

    - Starfox. Trying to shoot Slippy because he annoyed the hell out of us. Finally managing to find the secret warp on the asteroid level. Sooooo many attempts at that. Crapping yourself as you try to take out a boss with only one wing and the basic laser.

There are lots more... no doubt I'll get round to posting them in this thread.
