For being slightly more realistic. For depicting the kinds of bulltrout teenagers think and say and do and how it might seem stupid but you're allowed to feel it.

For one of the most under-appreciated soundtracks ever. It isn't my favorite Uematsu soundtrack, but it's a damn good one.
