Alright. So today I needed to blow off some steam, so I sat down and drew a full-body picture of Ian.



That plaid shirt was a nightmare to draw But I am pretty satisfied with the end result. What do you guys think?

So today I sat down and drew not one but TWO characters!

I don't think any of them is as good as Ian, but hey, let me know what you think. The main problem for me is that Ian turned out perfect for me - he looked exactly the way I imagined him. For Jess and Freddie - they're close, but just not there yet.

Also, a reupload of Ian scanned in a higher resolution, so that he matches the quality of the other two.



And I don't know why, but my scanner does this weird thing where it whites out stripes off the picture. I don't know what I can do about it

Alright, so I've decided I wanted to learn how to color. And although I believe I have failed spectacularly (not only have I little colored pencils, but also I completely suck at this), I present to you a colored version of Griff's face.

The eyes are really rad. I quite like your style to be honest, even if you aren't all that impressed with your own colouring. I think it looks cool and sketchy. You can only get better though!

I mostly don't like how the skin turned out. I have nothing remotely similar to a flesh-colored pencil - heck, I don't even have pink. I had to resort to a mixture of yellow, orange, magenta and brown. Brown was actually a past-minute decision, but I don't regret it, since Griff is kinda supposed to have this olive-skin thing going on. But yeah, if it was a paler character, I'd be screwed. Also, I notice it's very patchy. I need more colored pencils and I need to work on this.

Studying for exams so OF COURSE I had to draw something.

At least Freddie's face is getting more and more consistent.





Also: damn, my dudes have really thick eyebrows!

I haven't checked this in awhile....I love those full character shots! You have a great understanding of drawing clothing/where the wrinkles would fall. Nice work!
