You have to make a soundtrack about your life, no questions just do it.
...seriously why are you not doing it?!

Anyway the rules can be a bit complicated.
1. You can have a maximum of five songs per "era" of your life. "Era" can be defined by the particpant, you can choose simply "high school" or ages 5-10 if you want or you can choose more personal descriptions if it means something like an engagement or some other life changing moment.
2. You can have as many "era's" as you want but try to keep it manageable.
3. You can only use music you listened to at that time. In other words, if you were born in the 90s, you can only use music that was available to you from that time including music from previous decades. I mean if you want to use 70s disco to define your 90s childhood because your parents rocked that stuff all the time, that is cool, but NO early millennial trying to use Maroon 5 or some recent obscure indie group. Part of the point of this exercise is to show how we imprint music onto certain memories.
4. Music doesn't have to be restricted to what is playing on the radio. If you want to use a television show theme or had some family original song that is cool too. You just have to choose the music that best represents that era.
Ultimately, your "Life Soundtrack' should be filled with music that should instantly "take you back" to that era in your memories. You can be serious or silly or even both if you wish. Just please participate or...well...
