Yeah, I never stored gear on him. Never had a point.
I liked him more when he was the Choco-God in FFIX to be honest.

Ages ago I was playing this game at my great grandmother's house and some of my family was sitting in the same room as I was in, chatting and catching up. My parent's were among those in the room. I brought up the Fat Chocobo and my dad says, "Hey, it's your mom!" Mom, of course, slugs him in the arm as he is laughing.
....there might be a reason why I have the knack to piss women off very easily.

I felt obligated to give him gear, even if I would normally just sell it. I felt sort of sorry for him.
He's very useful if your collecting equipment.
I love his theme, but I wished that you could hold more items in the game so I wouldn't have to go find him whenever I needed to retrieve an important item.
