    Default SuikoDel

SuikoDel is one of my favourite JRPG series. Even though the first few never really came to PAL regions, the last couple instalments were enough to hook me. I like what they did with a tactical spin-off like the one Fin-Del Fantasy did, even though it wasn't quite as good.

I really appreciated shion's Let's Play of SuikoDel II. It was the second, right? Maybe the first... Hmm.

    :monster:

Definitely one of the best RPG series in history. It's a shame they're probably never going to make a new one; there were several loose ends that remained to be tied up as of the end of Suikoden III and since the next two games were prequels they still haven't been tied up.

It was the second! I need to finish that Let's Play one day. Interest seemed to have died out and I needed a break anyways.

I now own all 5 and I love them all, especially II and V

I bought III... I don't think I have it anymore. I played IV and executed the childhood friend and exiled myself to an island... I filled nearly every slot on my ship and then got to a tower where I... don't remember being able to beat the next boss.
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

I played part 1 and it was fun. I will get to part 2 eventually. The only reason I played S1 was to set the stage for S2. I hear it is one of the best ever, so I can't wait!

All the different characters you get is pretty cool.

I haven't played any of them yet, but shion's Let's Play makes me want to check them out.

Its a wonderful series and one I always recommend to people. I'm still finishing up Suikoden Tactics for the first time.
