They have already compared full console titles to the handheld Bravely Default, however. Specifically, they mentioned Hitman, and the negative reactions to the "aim for mainstream" changes they made to it.

I'm not saying that they're not going to misinterpret fan response (or, more likely, misjudge how to apply it), but I don't think "oh, it's a handheld, so it's not a valid comparison to full console games" is going to be a problem.
