I'm not really watching this show, but Danielle is. It seems a bit too serious for my liking in a general sense - I prefer the near-constant humour found in True Blood to some degree, although I'm not much of a fan of True Blood either. I guess I just really don't like constant yelling, screaming, brooding and unsmiling faces. But again, I'm not really watching much, just listening for the most part. I can see why others would like it, though, and maybe when I'm not so busy I can properly watch it and get a better judgement.
But really, I knew bugger all about the show including the cast before I saw what little I paid attention to and... am I the only person who thinks Dalton looks like Daniel Day Lewis? For some reason I totally thought that was him in the first episode and it was the most shocking thing in the world to me about this show. And then I found out it wasn't Daniel Day Lewis and was kind of sad.

that painting is collecting his aging and when he faces it he gets all those years back, i thought?
If i'm remembering correctly, he can see the painting. It just can't be damaged. So as long as the painting is in good condition, he will be as well.
I'm thinking maybe there's something in one of his cologne bottles that made Ethan make out with him. Maybe that's why Ethan started choking him, he knew what he was planning but by that time it was too late and he went in for the kiss.
