Lunar comes to mind, the Love story is actually a big part of the game. Also Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure

I actually came back here to mention Lunar being on of the only games wehre the Love story is pretty much the central plot element, and while I do like Lunar, that is one of the most ungodly cheesy games I've ever played. XD

I have played Lunar. You're right, Alex's love for Luna is both a central theme and the primary driving force behind Alex's adventures. I need to get a copy of that game. I beat it, but there was a bunch of side-questing I didn't get to do. I saw the guys' bathing scene but never managed to see the girls' bathing scene because by the time I got a new bar of soap I had already gotten to the end of the game... and I had only been renting it. I also have never played Lunar 2.
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

Thank God, that was not the case. The love story was horrible. It was right in the center of it, but the story would probably remain unchanged without it. It was literally the worst part about this game, it almost completely ruined it for me.

You are talking like there is anything wrong with that. Lunar is awesome, and is the first game I thought of for this thread.

I figured the XD implied a dose of fondness.
