I stumble upon the most glorious artist on devianart this morning with a section dedicated to Tolkien. The style is just incredible.



Celebrian, wife of Elrond, daughter of Galadriel and Celeborn, and mother of Arwen, Elladan, and Elrohir; this during her capture and imprisonment by Orcs as she was crossing the Misty Mountains on the return journey to Rivendell from a visite to Lothlorien. Elladan and Elrohir rescued her and Elrond healed her, but the shadow lingered, and finally she left for the West. Elladan and Elrohir abhorred Orcs ever after.
