What it says on the tin. I've beaten the game twice, both using the Origins version of the game myself.

True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
Twice. GBA and PSP. Not really much to brag about, though, considering the difficulty.
Hey! It can be hard! You just have to think like it's any other JRPG. Buy the best armor and the best weapons and then everything will be a lot more difficult.
I had trouble with Ultima Tower...
I came very close once. I got to right before that Jade Passage or whatever it was but then I lost interest and wandered off.

I beat the Origins version of this game quite recently. Definitely not the greatest entry in the series but I don't regret playing it. Only one I need to finish now is FFX.
I got about half- a -hour into it, maybe more.
Need to get back into it one day.
Couldn't do a NES emulated version but I did it on Origins about 10 years ago.
I've beaten the GBA version once. I liked it a heck of a lot. Emperor Mateus is one of my favorite villains in all of FF. The story was pretty great (and dark) while still having the minimalistic feel of a NES game. It was fun.
I also think it's interesting thinking about some of the elements that get reused from this game in FF IV. It reminds me of that entry a lot.
Working on it. I've got it on my cellphone - a really bare-bones version that was released a couple of years ago.I play a little here and there, mainly in waiting rooms or on public transport. Playing on a 2.5" screen, with optional sound effects or music but not both, means it's not a hugely immersive experience. Also, having to use touch-screen controls instead of physical buttons, even though my phone's got both.
I'm enjoying it well enough, though, and I'm sure I'll get through it eventually.
I still haven't beaten it, but I do own Origins so I might take another crack at it soon.
I actually have a 3.5" floppy disk with the save file and copy of the rom I beat the NES version with some time in 02.
I've played through the PS and Dawn of Souls version too.
...
Yes I've beaten it. Loved the entire game.
