Just Got This Game

I needed to get a PS3 game to make sure my new PS3 was working right ya know. So went to a local game store and got the cheapest JRPG they had, which was this game.

Played an hour of it.

Pros:
I can trade it in for store credit next month and get about $10 off Tales of Symphonia Chronicles.

I considered giving this game a chance because of where it improves upon the first game, until somebody said the battle system is the same as the first and I abandoned that idea as quickly as it came.

I'm guessing by your pros you don't much care for it.

Nope. The plot and characters are already making me roll my eyes and the battle system seems actually worse than the first game.

The plot is disjointed and confusing but that's time travel for you. Sarah is likable if a bit naive, the music is fairly good and hey Origa! I found the battle system to be better than 13 but it is still lacking.
