>>> I have played a bazillion games and he cant even catch a single 12 point shoot. I dont recall him being this bad in the original PS2 game.
Thoughts?
They didn't change anyone's stats in the remake. Keepa's CATCH never goes past 39.
Maybe RNGesus just isn't on your side today.
Just make him a sub and then pick up Nimrook on the airship. His CATCH is the highest in the game.
I ditched him for Jumal long ago :v
I keep the original Aurochs because I am loyal to the poor useless sods. Keepa becomes the best forward in the game at the end, too.
My motto is "Don't Keep Keepa." Jumal is a good goalie that rarely failed me. He can be found chilling on a bench in Luca sround that big statue thing near all the shops. You know, the area right before the stairs leading up to Mulan Road, or whatever. If you get him Super Goalie, the man is a beast.
I always try to keep all of the Aurochs and work towards getting to the point where I win every game. I can usually get them all to play pretty well in time. Keepa does kind of suck, though.
It's not my goalie i'm worried about
Why is he named Keepa if he sucks so much!
To be fair the game is pretty up front about how bad a team the Aurochs are.
I only ever played the mandatory game. Never bothered with Blitzball after that.
You have to wait until Nimrook's original contract expires and hope that the Psyches drop him (which happens every so often). Then you can pick him up. Before every game, it asks you to assign players, and there's room on your roster for two more or so.
Brother is an excellent FA because of his high SPEED. In my original save file, he was 99 when Tidus was 73 and the rest of the league was in the low 60s. Unfortunately, my defense was something in the 40s.
I always kept Keepa, just because it made the game a bit more fun for me. If I steamrolled every team, which I still pretty much did, it wasn't as fun for me. I liked to have at least a bit of challenge, to give the computer a little bit of a chance, at least. I did always pick up Ropp, though, as a defender.
