I only ever played Origins for the PS One so that wins by default.
Been playing the NES one since I was 4, so...yeah.

I was around 8-ish when I got the game, but the idea is the same. The remade versions just don't have the same feel to me.
So far Dawn of Souls, everything feels right on a Nintendo handheld and I always run from some early battles to help the difficulty even out a bit.
I actually got to the Ice Cavern once, emulating the NES version on a Dreamcast. It was cool, but I just couldn't get beyond that point.
We'll see how things go with Origins.

I love the NES graphics, but it's bugged out.
Origins is good but...
I have to say the GBA version, because it's not only (mostly) fixed, but they have the bonus dungeons.
NES.
I've only played through the other versions once compared to the countless times I've played through the NES version.
