Cloud strife was a pretty good game, but I spend more time playing Tifa.

I wish I could play Tifa all night long

(VII was probably objectively the best one out of the three best FFVIII holds a special place in my heart. Maybe I'm A Lion. Man With The Machine Gun. Renzokuken. Hot dogs.)

VII was always my favourite when I was younger, but through the years and after playing through each of the three multiple times, IX wins it for me.

Same here, I voted for IX.

FFVII was the first FF I ever played so I think it become my favourite by default (it is a very good game). But IX...there's something special about IX. After the super seriousness of VII and VIII it was nice to have some fun! Love the characters, the art style (its aged pretty well), the battle system and the fact that there was so much to do. Minigames like Chocobo Hot & Cold, Tetra Master (my favourite FF card game, didn't like FFVIII's Triple Triad), skipping in Alexandria etc xD

FFIX was a fairy tale and it put the "Fantasy" back in to FF ^^

like they even have to ask
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

    FFIX definitely!

The opening scene to this game was actually my introduction to the Final Fantasy franchise wayyyyy back in the early 2000's, so I fell in love with the game right off the bat. I thought FFVII was an amazing game, and FFVIII was memorable as well, but I can't help but view FFIX as one of my favorites of all time.
